Hi guys welcome back. So today I’m back with the second post in the look book I promised y’all earlier and I apologize that it took this late in coming. This will probably be one of the shortest style posts ever on this blog. Truth is, I sat with this one for a while and couldn’t quite figure out the angle to tackle this outfit post from (I’ve been hoarding these pictures since June).
Putting together a style post really isn’t beans because of course we can’t just post the pictures and call it a day. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could though?
Actually, from my full outfit I was going for a Parisian girl (a French girl) vibe, with my hair and the layering too but I needed two materials to complete the vibe even though I can still pass off as a french chic. I didn’t have one item and I didn’t even contemplate on the other…I hate it! LOL. Can you guess which materials I’m referring to? Let me know, leave your feedback in the comments.
For the second look in the long yellow blazer look book, I’ll be styling my blazer with a black inscription tee and a dark blue-based vintage skirt.
Unlike the first post which featured a basic way of styling the blazer, I went in with a more pronounced cool kid attitude and draped my blazers on my shoulders instead of wearing it and instantly got my status up as being a grand-member of the cool kid’s gang.

Yellow Longline Blazer: A gift
T-shirt: Hijacked
Vintage skirt: Thrift find
Bag: Thrift find
Jewelries Random buy

For this look, I paired basic pieces with simple accessories too. Like the last time, I went in with a black tee again as I hadn’t gotten any white t-shirt yet (as at the time these pictures were taken).
I love skirts (sometimes…lol) but I’ll appreciate them more if they hit past my knees (when it’s midi), the only skirt I can let this law past on are denim skirts, I can do anything for denim (jeans) skirts including going short but every other skirt borne of whatever material has to go slightly above or just below my knee cap. Just stay there!
Ticked good on this skirt thrice cos it’s past my knee, it’s free and it has prints that matched my blazer (Perfect!) I’m all for prints this season and this came to play in my choice of this skirt I thrifted months back. I also wanted something free and breezy and this skirt with buttons in front was definitely a plus. I choose the little grey bag to give off a classic formal look and this trusty cut-off shoes because they are comfort shoes and are just enough to turn any casual look formal.
With this look I’m sure you’re being reminded yet again of the need to have a nice well-fitting blazer in your wardrobe, if you don’t own one at the moment I advise you to add it to your shopping list as the styling options are endless. Hopefully before the end of the soon-to-come-new-month, look 3 of the look book would be ready and published. That will be all from me and my yellow longline blazer from now. Bye!

You look really good on that outfit from all angles you have captured and color yellow is very tricky to wear because it is bright and in most cases it over cloud but you matched it good.

Wow! Golibe these looks are beautiful. I love your style. Thanks for showing me how to style a blazer. I have so many but always resort to the old cardigan. I’m going to pair it casually like you do to add some zip and class. Love it.
